Sound ~ what sounds springs to mind?

Children laughing, playing or crying, dogs barking or cats purring, traffic or bird song, the wind rustling leaves or a thunder storm, the sound of rain or the sound of a brook, the clatter of pans, the Television or the radio, your favourite music or “that dreadful stuff the kids listen to”. All of these are sounds.

Sound can hurt and sound can heal. Depending on what is going on in your life your reaction to all of the above can be very different.

Think about words and tone of voice, yes they are also sounds. The sound of love, thought, care, consideration, encouragement, congratulations or what feels like telling off, demand, anger, trouble.

The amazing healing power of Sound Energy is growing and there are many different forms, Drums, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal Bowls, Gongs, Didgeridoo, Rattles, Wooden Flutes, Tuning Forks and Toning (the voice but not singing).

For those of you who have experienced a Sound Bath of some sort or had a Sound Session you will already be aware of the wonderful energies and their effects.

I work with Sound Energy in the form of Toning, a very powerful tool and earlier this year I realised that what I am working with is Sound Reiki.

I am a Reiki Master, teacher & practitioner and have been working with Toning for about 12 years; first with Quantum Touch and now in a much deeper way helping people to connect with and heal their younger self, their inner child.
